This policy explains how Pblu Devs processes information in Truth or Dare 2 and Have You Ever (the “Party Apps”), including local and online parties. These apps do not require a Pblu Devs account. A separate notice will apply if another Pblu Devs product handles data differently.
Pblu Devs, based in Spain, is responsible for this processing. Contact us at [email protected] or through our contact page.
Information we process
Data stored on your device
The apps may store player names, avatars, photos you choose, custom questions, settings, Premium status, privacy choices, a random installation identifier and details needed to resume an active party. This stays on your device unless an online feature needs to send part of it to the party server. Custom questions are currently local and are not uploaded to online parties.
Online parties and user content
Online parties process room and invitation details, participant and device display names, random identifiers, a hashed device identity, game state, presence and timestamps. They may also process votes, answers, typed truth responses, chat messages, selected GIF links, player photos and short audio clips. This content is shared with other people in the same invited room. Do not upload another person's personal or sensitive information without permission.
Product analytics
We use limited, pseudonymous analytics to understand app reliability and feature use. Events may include random installation, session or play identifiers; app and build version; platform, store, major OS version and locale; country when supplied by our infrastructure; Premium state; and gameplay measurements such as deck, card, result, duration, player-count or round buckets. We do not intentionally include names, photos, audio, chat text, typed answers, room codes, invitation tokens or payment details in analytics.
In app versions with Privacy choices, you can stop future product analytics in Settings; turning it off also prevents queued events from being sent. If your version does not show this control, update the app or contact us to object and request deletion.
Safety reports and blocking
If a participant reports content in an online room, we create a temporary safety report. It may contain the reported message or GIF details, written answer, JPEG photo, short MP4 audio, or the reported device and participant display names. The report also contains the room, product, language, timestamps and pseudonymous moderation identifiers for the reporting and reported installations. This allows an authorised administrator to review the specific material and respond to abuse without storing unrelated room content.
Reporting normally removes the selected content from the room. Blocking is separate: it removes the other installation from the room and stores its pseudonymous moderation identifier in the blocking installation's local settings. Current online rooms also process this block list to prevent blocked installations from joining rooms containing each other. Blocking is installation-based and is not linked to a Pblu Devs account.
Diagnostics, purchases and GIFs
- Sentry: production versions may send crash and error diagnostics with technical app, device and OS context. Default personally identifiable information is disabled and we do not intentionally attach party content.
- RevenueCat and app stores: these services validate Premium purchases using a generated customer identifier and transaction or entitlement metadata. We do not receive full payment-card details.
- GIPHY: if you use GIF search, the search terms, app locale and technical request information go directly to GIPHY. A selected GIF link is shared with room participants.
- Security: our infrastructure may temporarily process IP addresses and other technical data to apply rate limits, prevent abuse and secure the service.
Support
If you contact us, we use the contact details and information in your message to answer and resolve the request. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary party content.
Purposes and legal grounds
- To provide requested local and online features and validate Premium access.
- With consent where required for analytics, diagnostics or optional device permissions. Consent can be withdrawn for future processing.
- For legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention, reviewing user reports, reliability and product improvement, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- To comply with legal obligations and valid legal requests.
Who receives information
Information is disclosed only as needed to online-room participants; authorised administrators reviewing safety reports; our hosting and database providers; Sentry; RevenueCat and the relevant app store; GIPHY; or authorities and other parties when legally required or necessary to protect users and the service. We do not sell personal information or use Party App data for targeted advertising. Providers may process information outside your country under applicable contractual or legal safeguards.
Retention
- Online rooms: room state, chat and gameplay content expire no later than 24 hours after the room's latest activity.
- Photos and audio: normally held in temporary server memory until replaced, the participant or room is removed, the server restarts, or the room expires. Reported material follows the safety-report period below.
- Safety reports: reported evidence and its associated room, display-name and pseudonymous device context are kept for no more than 30 days. Evidence and display names are erased immediately when review concludes; the remaining report record expires at the end of that period.
- Analytics: raw events are kept for up to 90 days; a limited queue may stay on the device until sent or deleted.
- On-device data: remains until removed in the app, cleared from device storage or deleted by uninstalling.
- Purchases and support: kept only as needed for support, legal obligations, disputes and fraud prevention.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability; withdraw consent; and complain to a data-protection authority. Device permissions can be controlled in operating-system settings. See our Data Deletion page or email [email protected].
Rules for using the Party Apps, purchases and player content are available in our Terms of Use.
Children
The Party Apps are not directed to children below the minimum age for online services in their country without parental permission, and some decks contain mature themes. Follow the store age rating and in-app content settings. Contact us if a child may have provided personal information without the required permission.
Security and policy changes
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the apps or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required.
